Through practical implementation, it demonstrates that Yudian’s AI instruments offer precise control, high stability, and reliability, along with easy operation and convenient maintenance. Since its commissioning in 2007, the equipment has operated smoothly without any malfunctions. Introduction In today's intelligent environment, the safe operation of equipment is becoming increasingly dependent on advanced control systems. Choosing reliable and safe equipment has become a critical issue. A wrong selection can affect production and cause significant economic losses. The refining and chemical industries, especially in testing equipment, require high levels of automation. Laboratory data must be accurate and free from errors, as any mistake can damage the company's reputation. Therefore, selecting high-quality equipment is essential for ensuring accurate test results. Temperature control, in particular, requires high precision. The following two models of Yudian AI instruments are used to demonstrate their effectiveness. 1. Design Requirements for the Petroleum Product Distillation Analyzer 1.1 Main Technical Parameters The petroleum product distillation analyzer discussed here refers to the diesel distillation range. The sampled product is placed into the distillation tube, heated in the electric furnace, and temperature is strictly controlled. When the temperature reaches a certain level, gas is generated and collected, then cooled rapidly. This process helps determine the distillation range of diesel. Steps: 1. Before use, all switches should be off, and the voltage adjustment knob turned counterclockwise to the end. Connect the refrigerator's circulation water pipe to the analyzer. 2. Add water or absolute ethanol to the bath, maintaining a 2–3 cm distance from the top. 3. Connect the power supply to a 220V socket with proper grounding. 4. Turn on the heater switch and adjust the voltage knob clockwise to start heating. 5. Use the cold bath heating device by setting the desired temperature, adjusting the settings, and monitoring the actual temperature. Once the set point is reached, the system will maintain constant temperature. The instrument includes a distillation electric furnace, temperature control section, glassware, balance tank, solenoid valve, and electric heater. It operates in a dual-tube mode, allowing independent or simultaneous testing of samples. Two sets of Yudian digital temperature controllers, heaters, refrigerators, and mixers form two constant temperature baths, ensuring uniform temperature distribution and meeting test requirements. Yudian AI instruments are primarily used to control the temperature of the front and rear tubes. Under strict conditions, the temperature control must be accurate to 0.2 degrees. The accuracy of this control directly affects the correctness of the measurement results, making Yudian AI instruments crucial for the equipment. 2. Equipment Configuration 2.1 Hardware Configuration The petroleum product distillation analyzer features two thermostats, a power button, electric furnace, fan, and manufacturer-supplied accessories. The AI instrument controls the entire process, enabling automatic temperature control and accurate data collection. Key features of the Yudian AI-708 series include: - 30+20-segment program control for slope adjustments and programmable commands like jump, loop, pause, and stop. - AI artificial intelligence adjustment with curve fitting for smooth control. - Event output and SV variable output functions for external device control. - Supports various thermocouples, RTDs, and linear inputs, with customizable nonlinear correction tables. - High-precision measurement (0.1 level), low temperature drift (<50ppm/°C). - Modular output options including SSR, relay, thyristor, and more. - Advanced communication protocols (RS485/RS232C) for integration with large-scale systems. - Multiple alarm functions and customizable parameter access. 3. Conclusions and On-Site Application Pictures This paper aims to introduce Yudian AI instruments through real-world applications. By showcasing our equipment, it is clear that we have been using Yudian products for years. The AI instruments are widely applied in our factory, and many leaders have recognized their value. I started with two important devices that use AI instruments. There are numerous cases where electric equipment is used in our factory, and I share this special example for others to learn and exchange. The temperature control in our factory is very strict, and the Yudian AI instruments respond quickly and accurately. This is proven by the low failure rate of the equipment we use. The Yudian AI secondary instrument temperature controller is a reliable product we can trust. Using Yudian AI high-performance temperature controllers not only reduces energy consumption but also improves environmental sustainability. For high-power resistance furnaces, the control effect significantly impacts the lifespan of heating elements. Yudian AI instruments have a low failure rate, and one year of energy savings can amount to a considerable cost reduction. For example, when heating products are within 200°C to 220°C, a low-precision meter may set the temperature to 210°C with ±10°C drift, barely meeting production needs. However, Yudian AI instruments can stabilize the temperature at 201°C with ±1°C drift, reducing the average heating temperature by 9°C and saving 6–10% energy. This aligns with Yudian’s efforts to help customers reduce costs and produce high-quality products.
