New Walothen film can be used to replace traditional coating film

Wipak's new Walothen film can be used to replace traditional coated films. The Walothen C25XLSE film is uncoated and can be sealed down to 65 degrees. The key benefit for manufacturers and packers is that they can be applied to temperature-sensitive products such as chocolate or baked products, and can reduce packaging costs while minimizing the impact on the environment.
This low-temperature sealing BOPP film product improves the yield in the packaging process. Packagers can reduce costs and production can be greatly increased by eliminating secondary packaging (such as cardboard boxes) and packaging machinery that can operate at higher speeds. Due to its lower initial sealing temperature (around 65 degrees) - even achievable temperatures by picking - this film is suitable for packaging temperature-sensitive temperatures such as chocolate, bakery products and pastas. Direct beam packaging for collating prepackaged products such as tobacco or CD bags is another area of application. The low temperature seal prevents the single-layer packaging film from sticking to the multilayer packaging film (bundle film).
The orientation of the film in the transverse and longitudinal directions gives the product excellent optical/visual properties such as transparency and gloss. The Walothen C25XLSE film has a thickness of 25 microns. It is corona treated and suitable for printing and roller compaction.
