W & H introduces a new TOPAS® FFS molding, filling and sealing (FFS) system. This device was exhibited at Interpack2005. Because the plastic bag can be molded, filled and sealed at one time, the system has a good economy for the production process. The raw material used may be a tubular material, or a flat film may be directly used.
The TOPAS® system is used worldwide for a wide variety of different material packages such as plastic resins, fertilizers, salt, sugar, chemicals, powdered vitamins, seeds, and pet foods.
W&H's Topas technology has excellent filling adaptability and economy.
The good adaptability of TOPAS® is not only manifested in the adaptability to different powder and granular products, but also can adapt to a wide range of packaging specifications. It only takes a few minutes and you can adjust between 5kg and 50kg without using any adjustment tools or replacing any parts. The processable film may be a single layer film, a multilayer film, or a laminate film. Compared with prefabricated bag packaging, this three-in-one processing system has an excellent flexible cost-filling advantage.
The system can also be equipped with a special exhaust system to remove the remaining air from the bag before sealing and it is not necessary to separately seal the vent. The bags are tightly sealed, which is very advantageous for the packaging of hygroscopic materials such as nylon or dangerous goods. The optional exhaust device also facilitates the subsequent packaging palletization. In addition, customers can choose the TOPAS® system equipped with a robot stacking device, which can realize automatic palletizing of the bags and further reduce labor costs.
W&H's patented filling system is equipped with a special dust extraction system to ensure a clean working environment and optimal filling. W&H also provides efficient and modular systems for TOPAS® systems to meet the production needs of specific markets and special products, as well as the economical and efficient packaging requirements of different customers.
