China must strengthen recycling of waste plastics for vehicles

At present, China's demand for automotive plastics is constantly growing. At the same time, the plastics that have been abandoned are also on the rise, and the pollution problems that they cause must be solved.

Li Guojun, vice chairman of the China Plastics Industry Association, believes that the recycling, recycling, and utilization of waste plastics should start from the source, and scientifically selecting materials for auto parts, especially for new products, can promote the recycling and recycling of plastics. In addition, industry insiders have suggested that domestic cities should respond to environmental pollution caused by plastic materials used in used vehicles.

In recent years, Japan and European countries have put forward requirements for the use of waste plastics in automobiles, and have specified specific years. In the summer of 2003, Ford Motor Company of the United States began to recycle automotive plastics and mixed it with fine stone as a material for pavement.
