New type multi-layer film packaging come out

U.S. Teknt-plex has developed a multilayer film of Novinex with a moisture barrier. The Novinex film is topped with Topascos and pressed together with the outer polypropylene. It has stronger moisture resistance and transparency than PVDC/polymer multilayer film in performance. As the material does not contain ethylene, halogens and plasticizers, its safety and environmental advantages are significant. In addition, Novinex is multi-layered and pressed at the same time in the production process. Compared with laminated films, there is less chance of contamination during production and the processing process is also easy to grasp. The Novinex film is classified into three grades depending on the inner layer, and each grade has a different color: transparent, white, and amber. This new product can be widely used in food, medicine and other product packaging.
Teknt-Plex claims that Topascos is a member of the amorphous engineering plastics family. It is transparent, strong, moisture-resistant, strong and stable. It has now obtained the FDA's approval to allow the material to be used directly in food contact. Packaging, but also approved for the packaging of drugs.
