Paper with static electricity affects paper feeding and printing. First, there is static electricity on the paper before the machine. The second is that the static electricity is not obvious before the paper is printed. The static electricity is suddenly increased after the printing and the paper is not evenly received. Water is involved in the offset printing process, and it is not common to increase static electricity after printing.

Elimination of static electricity commonly used methods are: the use of humidifiers to increase the relative humidity of paper hanging indoor and workshop, in order to increase the paper's moisture content; advance paper to the machine in order to adapt to the printing shop's temperature and humidity. If the paper feeder can still feed paper, but the printed products are not in the same place, at this time, a slight increase in the water content of the layout is a certain effect. In addition, it is also possible to use static eliminators or antistatic agents to eliminate static electricity on paper.

A factory uses offset paper to print a batch of color jobs. When the paper feeding process is not double-sheet, it is skewed and cannot be printed normally. It is judged that the paper is electrostatically charged, but the factory does not have equipment for hanging paper, and the captain is at this time. Some water was sprinkled on the ground, all the paper was shaken and stacked, and the paper was reloaded the next day. The paper feeding was normal and the above situation did not occur.

Five paper bows

In the printing process, paper bow wrinkles (pills) is one of the most common failures, and the economic losses are relatively large. There are two main reasons for this type of failure: First, the paper itself (mostly appearing in non-paint Paper) and secondly, improper adjustment of the machine, and the following analysis of its causes and treatment methods according to its shape.

Reasons for this type of pleats (1) The "foliage" that occurs when the paper absorbs moisture (the paper itself has uneven moisture content or the relative humidity of the shop is high, and the paper has a low moisture content).
(2) Ink on the back side of the two-sided printed impression "stacked cylinder" (the pressure on the surface of the impression cylinder is too thick, causing partial pressure to change).
Processing method: re-hanging paper; if it is printed on both sides, we must pay attention to washing the impression cylinder.

2 Straight, straight pleats (with folds in the middle of the paper)
The main reason for this kind of pleats is the deformation of the paper (tight edges).
Processing method: re-hanging paper, if some printing plants do not hang paper equipment, you can print the uncut printing paper in advance a week in the wind, on the printing room to adapt to the temperature and humidity around the machine, when printing Cut the machine again.
