New Development of Emulsifier in Packaging Industry

[China Packaging Network News] As living standards continue to rise, the deep processing of agricultural products is expanding rapidly. Fruit and vegetable beverages have become a major focus in this industry, with advanced technology and equipment playing a crucial role in accelerating development.

The emulsifier integrates nine different types of emulsifiers and can complete the process in one go using a three-stage emulsifier system. This not only saves energy but also significantly reduces production costs. Currently, domestic manufacturers primarily rely on grinding-based and shear-assisted equipment, which typically require three colloidal mills to complete the entire process. This approach increases overall investment and often results in unsatisfactory final fineness. In contrast, traditional colloid mills only feature one pair of grinding discs, with a maximum of two layers per set. The modern emulsifier, however, features a three-stage rotating and stator structure, with six layers in each stage. This design makes its production efficiency up to nine times that of conventional colloidal mills.

In the packaging industry, emulsifiers play a vital role. In China, emulsifying machines account for approximately 40% of total packaging materials. Looking ahead, the demand for emulsifiers is expected to grow, especially as more food businesses shift away from plastic packaging. Additionally, the implementation of the "plastic limit order" has further boosted market demand for emulsifiers. With stricter environmental regulations, outdated packaging methods are being phased out, and improvements in plastic materials have become a top priority. As public awareness of environmental protection and health continues to grow, the demand for sustainable packaging solutions is rising. Recycled material-based packaging is becoming increasingly popular among consumers. Globally, food packaging has shown consistent growth, driven by increasing consumer preference for eco-friendly and safe packaging options.
