New Development of Emulsifier in Packaging Industry

[China Packaging Network News] As living standards continue to rise, the deep processing of agricultural products is expanding rapidly, and the development of fruit and vegetable beverages has become a major topic of interest. Advanced technical equipment plays a crucial role in accelerating this process.

The emulsifier integrates nine different emulsifiers and can be processed in one go using a three-stage emulsifier, which not only saves energy but also reduces production costs. Currently, most domestic manufacturers use grinding-based and shear-assisted equipment, requiring three colloidal mills to complete the entire process. This increases overall investment and often results in unsatisfactory fineness. Traditional colloidal mills typically have only one pair of grinding discs with a maximum of two layers. In contrast, the modern emulsifier features a three-stage rotating and stator structure, each with six layers, making its production efficiency about nine times that of traditional colloidal mills.

Emulsifiers play a vital role in the packaging industry. In China, emulsifying machines account for approximately 40% of total packaging materials. Looking ahead, the demand for emulsifiers is expected to grow, especially as more food businesses move away from plastic packaging. The implementation of the "plastic limit order" has further boosted market demand for emulsifiers. With stricter environmental regulations, outdated packaging solutions are being phased out, and improvements in plastic materials are becoming a top priority. As public awareness of environmental protection and health continues to grow, so does the demand for sustainable packaging. Recycled material-based packaging is gaining popularity, reflecting a shift toward eco-friendly choices. Globally, food packaging continues to show steady growth, driven by increasing consumer preferences for environmentally responsible options.
