Ilapak Showcases High Speed ​​Candy Wrapper with Production Speed ​​of 140 Bags/Minute

Ilapak, Switzerland, exhibited its latest wrapping technology at the Emballage Packaging Trade Show, a high-speed vertical wrapper.

The Vegatronic 4000 wrapper is designed for upright wrapping of a wide variety of products, such as candy or bakery products.

Ilapak did not choose a standard closed structure design that is commonly used in the industry. Instead, it uses an open structure model that makes the machine more accessible and easier to maintain and clean.
Adriano Favaro, Ilapak's product manager, said: “In this industry, the most important thing is the hygienic situation. This is the design focus of this machine. It is very clean. You can easily reach each of its internal components. The cleaning is very simple and can be thoroughly cleaned."

According to Ilapak, depending on the size and shape of the package, the Vegatronic wrapper can produce up to 140 bags per minute.

Vegatronic 4000 can produce pillow bags and bulk packaging using a variety of heat sealing materials such as polypropylene, barrier films and composite films.
