An avid traveler, David Charette believes that exploration serves as a profound source of inspiration, particularly for children. Drawing on the creativity of CIRCU's products, alongside pieces from the Covet House collection and other cherished vendors, David crafted luxury kids' room designs that embody the glamour, wonder, and magic inherent in the travel experience.

The Sleep Sanctuary: Where Time Stands Still and Adventures Begin

This enchanting tale unfolds in a residence nestled in the heart of Montreal, a locale known for its long, frigid winters and sparse daylight hours.

Hoping to create a haven that remains warm and bright throughout the year, David Charette envisioned an enchanted project where "light and brightness" became the core of the entire design.

The narrative commences with the de Gournay hand-painted wall covering in a fresh mint hue, complemented by fluttering butterflies that echo the butterfly motifs of the KOKET Nymph Wall Lamp and the organic curves of CIRCU's Tristen Bed. David Charette adores the Tristen Bed not only for its youthful charm but also for its "ergonomic design and ease of access for children."

The modern lines of the bed were paired with the unique design of the Boca do Lobo Wave Nightstand and the quirky style of the Delightfullâ€™s Billy Table Lamp. By blending these contemporary pieces with romantic and classic elements, David Charette created a distinctive room that breathes inspiration into children's spaces.

The 22-foot ceilings of the bedroom offered a unique opportunity for Britto Charette to incorporate a standout giraffe chandelier by Marc Antonio, which Jay Britto had admired during a visit to iSaloni.

This luxury kids' room also features a cozy seating area where young ones can enjoy their favorite fairy tales while seated on the CIRCU Dainty Armchair. Designed specifically for children, this delicate armchair brings elegance to the room with its pink velvet upholstery. To create a distinct separation between the reading nook and the sleeping area, David Charette chose the Boca Do Lobo Gold Folding Screen.

The Play and Study Area: Where Fairytales Are Born and Dreams Take Shape

As a lover of adventure and travel, David Charette sought to create a special space with an African Safari Vibe that would spark a child's imagination and foster a lifelong passion for exploration.

Having grown up camping, David wanted to infuse the joy of those memories by including the Teepee Tent, allowing children to feel like they're camping amidst an enchanted forest, right within the comfort of their room. This nature-inspired theme is further enhanced by the Fornasetti wall covering from Cole & Son and the Filigree Cricket Wall Lamp, insect-shaped wall sconces by Boca do Lobo.

â€œThe clouds on the ceiling enhance the idea of camping (â€˜glampingâ€™) and dreaming, and the Circu Cloud Suspension Lamps add to the dreamy camping ambiance.â€

Continuing with the adventurous spirit, the designer selected the CIRCU NODO Suspension Chair, a must-have in every luxury kids' room, as it brings outdoor fun indoors with an elegant touch and offers a comfortable spot for kids to relax and dive into their favorite stories.

To infuse the room with a sense of freedom and stimulate kids' imagination, the designer chose one of his favorite CIRCU pieces, the Sky Desk. Its playful airplane-shaped design serves as the focal point for kids' playtime and transforms homework into an exciting journey.

By crafting this luxury kids' room, David Charette from Britto Charette aspired to inspire children to dream, play, and cultivate a respect for nature as they embark on their own remarkable journeys. Additionally, since he designed them to be "transitional" bedrooms adaptable from toddlerhood to adolescence, he hopes parents recognize the value in investing in Circu products and other items that stand out as special and beyond the scope of typical mass-produced children's designs.
