Troubleshooting the printer when sending a print job from the software

When sending a print job from the software, if the laser printer does not respond, different methods of exclusion should be taken for different reasons.

(1) The power cord is not connected to the printer or the power supply is disconnected. Check the power supply and power cable to make them securely connected.

(2) The printer may suspend work, sleep in software recovery, wake the printer.

(3) The connection cable between the printer and the computer is not connected. Reconnect the connection cable between the printer and the computer firmly.

(4) Defective connection cable The cable can be tested on a normal machine to verify if there is something wrong. If there is a defect, replace the cable.

(5) The printer selection menu of the wrong printer check software was selected in the software to see if the correct printer was selected.

(6) The correct printer port is not configured Check the configuration menu of the software to ensure access to the correct printer port. If the computer you are using is not a parallel port, make sure that the printer cable is connected to the correct port.

(7) Printer connection Check converter settings on an incorrectly set converter and connect the printer directly to a computer to verify that the converter has a problem.

(8) Printer malfunction Check the printer.
