The chemical / bioelectrochemical sensor developed based on this research result can be applied to the detection of pollutant components in seawater and sewage environments.

Researchers from the biosensor team at the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Processes used hard template methods to synthesize OMCs. Researchers use differential pulse voltammetry to achieve simultaneous detection of three isomers of o, m, and p-nitrophenol, and common components have no interference with their determination. Based on this discovery, the researchers developed an ultra-sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor for the detection of nitrophenyl organic phosphorus. Using differential pulse voltammetry to detect nitrophenyl organic phosphorus (paraxon, parathion, methyl parathion, etc.) on OMCs / GCE, the detection limit reaches nM level, and the measurement process does not require oxygen removal. Compared with the traditional deoxygenation method, it has made great progress.
